About us

Our focus in 2021 will be the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site.

The Wadden Sea World Heritage is an area of approximately 11,500 square kilometers along the Dutch-German-Danish coast. The Wadden Sea is home to around 10,000 species of unicellular organisms and fungal species, as well as higher plants and animals. The bird migration in spring and autumn is spectacular with up to twelve million birds taking a rest in the Wadden Sea. In Germany, the so-called "Migratory Bird Days" have been held for several years now.

With the choice of the topic Wadden Sea we follow our new orientation that we concentrate in our activity more on the Baltic and North Sea as well as the adjacent seas.
